Bought a new battery and car still won't start?
Oreillys told me I had a bad battery so I went out and bought a one and it still won't start it tries to but then just loses power. Idk what could be the problem

If you took a brand new battery off the shelf and installed it in your car, it's probably NOT up to full charge. Put a meter on it. It probably shows 10 volts or less, while your starter needs AT LEAST 12 volts. Buy or borrow a battery charger and pump up your battery to a full charge (around 13.5 volts)

Wow! Are you telling me those master mechanics behind the counter at Oreallys misdiagnosed your problem? Imagine that, One would think for the slightly above minimum wage those guys make they'd be spot on every time,

YEAR MAKE and MODEL would help. Any lights on the dash? Does it run for the same amount of time every time and then die? Give us something to go on... May be an easy fix.

Often new batteries need to be recharged before they can provide enough amps.
