What is the cause of Screen Tearing in Gaming?...this hasn't happened before, so why now?
Im Using Windows 7 Ultimate, and i played CounterStrike Global Offensive for few months via Steam.
Laptop Specs : IntelCore i7 5500 CPU @2.40Ghz
8GB RAM, x64 Bit OS, 1TB HDD
Laptop : Dell Inspiron 3543
Graphics Card Nvidia 840m
Game Plays Flawlessly always....
I go to my Nvidia settings, and CLick CSGO ...i press Optimize settings..then it kind of plays in a bit smaller screen than fullscreen...well i click OPTIMAL SETTINGS, then when i play game i put FULLSCREEN always..1366x768....
Now im experiencing screen tearings i dont know why..even using OPTIMAL Settings and its windows resoltuion still....i want to know how to fix this and what is the cause of this...its shouldnt be like its has specs to play at lowest settings...is it because if u press screen it damages? or press the back of the screen? so on so forth..
please help

enable or force Vsync if you are getting 60 or above fps.
screen tearing happens when more frames are being rendered then your screen is able to display and refresh. Your monitor is likely 60hz meaning anything above 60fps will cause screen tearing.
