Can a P.O. in Arizona arrest just anyone, or is it limited to their client?
I had someone's P.O. tell me that he could arrest me if I 'lied' to him. I'm not on probation or parole, but my son's gf is and she stays at my house.
It's amazing since they are taught to lie to the public, yet I get threatened by him for catching him in a lie. Hmmmmm.

Yes, a parole officer is a law enforcement officer with full police powers, including arrest.
Lying to a police officer who is on official business is obstruction of justice, for which you can be arrested.
