That is one of the biggest rumors and myths in history of Tijuana . There are no Donkey Shows in TJ and never have been. In fact some folks that ask a taxi driver where they are have been driven to a remote location and beaten and robbed. That is the most perverted disgusting thing I can imagine
There are places that do and they are in Nuevo Laredo where Los Zetas rule the roost.
I sure don`t know how a myth can carry on for decades.
