No, it's not a common problem, for French Bulldogs or any other breed, to pee when they are sleeping. Incontinence is serious. How long has this been going on? You need to get your dog to a vet, the sooner the better, for your dogs sake. Something is seriously wrong and you need to find out what it is and hope the vet says it's treatable. If your Regular Vets Office is closed for the day, then Emergency Vets are open 24 hours. Please get off your computer and get your poor dog to the vet, NOW.

It's not normal for any dog to do that, regardless of breed or mix. The dog needs to be seen by a vet.
