If I backup all my data to a partition will stay there after upgrading to windows 10?

    Hello Timothy,

    Yes.

    As long as you don't reformat your complete hard drive and simply upgrade to W10 the data you backed up on the separate partition will remain there.

    When I upgraded I backed up the data I wanted to keep but when Windows 10 installed the Operating System installed but it did not remove any of my saved files.
