Pneumonia?

Pneumonia is a lung inflammation caused by bacterial or viral infection, in which the air sacs fill with pus and may become solid. Inflammation may affect both lungs (double pneumonia), one lung (single pneumonia), or only certain lobes (lobar pneumonia).

Pneumonia is an infection of the respiratory tract and/or lungs. It is most commonly bacterial though it can be viral and rarely fungal. The treatment are the antibiotics or other medications taken as prescribed by your doctor.

if your 2 yr. old caught pneumomia, get him medical attention as soon as possible instead of asking about the disease here. it can be severe in children of that age.
