What's the official stand of the NATO on the issue of the Russian plane shot over Turkey yesterday ?

    NATO is a coalition of nations you know. Each would have their own "official stand". I would imagine the stand of most will be/is, "Gee Turkey, that was a really stupid way to handle that. Good luck."

    the US at least has thrown Turkey to the wolves by offering their view that the Russian plane was in Syria when shot down by the Turks

    The official stance: Turkey has a right to defend its airspace, just like Russia did back in 1983.

    The unofficial stance: YEAHHHH BABY! WOO-HOO! SUCK IT RUSSIANS!!!
