Should I go back to the densit? Please help!?
5 days ago, I had a bunch of fillings done on my top and bottom right side. Since then, I have been in immense pain. I went back and they smoothed them down, and wouldn't even listen to me when I yelped and flinched in pain. They said I will be better after the grinding down part.
Anyway, here I am, 4 days after my second visit, still in pain.
I hurt sooo bad on the top I can barely handle it. It's deep soreness, but it also feels like an open cavity they forgot to fill, but wouldn't they have noticed that?
And, they put in the separators to separate my teeth while inserting the fillings, but they had a ton of problems with those, they kept popping off and I had to cough one up because it went down my throat
The pain never ceases, but sometimes it feels better when I put pressure on my tooth that is hurting.
Also, would you suggest switching dentist, or is this normal and I should just toughen up?

Definitely. It may be more than simply smoothing them down. A nerve could be involved, an infection, or it could be one of the teeth being cracked.
If they do not help, you may need to go to another dentist and have them evaluate the problem. I have had experience with dentists like this in the past. It took me 30 years, but I finally found one that is not only competent but listens to his patients and as his absolute best to help them. He is so rare that I will pay higher prices for insurance just to keep him as my dentist. He is slightly more expensive than the others, which limits the insurance that he accepts, that he is worth every penny.
I wish you the best luck and hope that you can get this resolved.

Not normal, switch to another dentist.
