Chemistry question... need some quick help...?

If an equal number of moles of a hot material is placed into thermal contact with a cold material, the final equilibrium temperature will be closer to the substance that has the:

a) LOWER molar heat capacity

b) HIGHER molar heat capacity

    Even thought about it?

    Higher heat capacity means that you need more effort to heat matter by the same delta-t than you need for an object with lower heat capacity.

    So the temp. of the one with the lower capacity changes a lot. The one with the higher capacity, not so much. Provided that it's the same amount of substance.

    This is because heat given off by the hotter one is equal to the heat received by the colder.
