Can I call in at work and say I can't go because of final exams?
I'm pretty busy today with actual in-class exams, and online assignments.

It depends on the importance of your work. But, you should note that next time, you really should give a week's notice (or at least 3 days) before something like this happens. I have friends that work and go to university. When they have final exams, they give the heads-up and are excused, without affecting their overall job reputation. If this is the first time this has happened with you, I guess they'll accept this exception, but you must give your employers a heads-up before any of this occurs.

No. They won't accept that. It will also give you a bad reputation if you try to get a different job.
Go get energy drinks and pull an all nighter :/
