No, a crown cannot be covered with a veneer. Veneers are placed on healthy teeth after removing a small amount of tooth structure. Crowns replace the entire portion of the tooth that is visible and only a stump of tooth is left for the crown to be cemented onto. A crown can be used in place of a veneer if the tooth has too much decay to just get a veneer.
