PS Vita so or new Nintendo 3DS XL, which one????

So while I know the Vita has struggled to make a name for itself, but I had one a few years ago and sorta liked it. The 3DS looks decent, but seems to lack much for serious, hardcore gamers. Both have a good selection of games I like, but still, I just can't decide. The only thing I don't like about the Vita is the pricey memory cards. But th new 3DS doesn't even come with a power cord, Nintendo's milking their system too. Help, advice, opinions please.

It depends on what kind of games do you like. Both have incredible games but Sony has left the Vita to die only being held up by Indies while Nintendo is still going to release games for the 3DS for the next year or so. PS+ is big to play games and not spend much money. Legend of Zelda, Monster Hunter 4, Pokemon Y/Ruby, Mario Land are just must haves. I like the new 3ds Xl. But my Vita is my favorite. The 3d is much improved. I still have a Psp Go also. Both have a great library. but If you have smartphone, you could even install Leo Privacy Guard , with Improve operation performance.

That's kind of the point on the 3DS. It's not only a "hardcore" machine, it's got games for everyone. That's what sets itself apart from other consoles.

Though, anyone who says Xenoblade Chonicles isn't hardcore, doesn't know the meaning of the word. And that's out for 3DS as well.

What do you mean by "Nintendo's milking their system?"

And 2016 is the year of the JRPG for the 3DS.

We have a new Mario & Luigi game that crosses over with the Paper Mario series.

We have three new Fire Emblem games.

Virtual Console releases of the original three gen1 Pokemon games.

Dragon Quests VII and VIII remakes both coming out next year.

For the "hardcore" JRPG fan, 3DS is the system to own.
