Will the administration learn from history or repeat it?
We've seen how well North Korea adheres to treaties designed to keep nukes out of their hands. Of course we send them money --they take it--and still become a nuclear power. We have this bat chit crazy country in the far east that's a nuclear power.
We have this bat chit crazy country in the middle east. We are lifting sanctions-giving them money--cause they wouldn't try and finish developing a nuke because they'll follow the treaty (of course they've only violated it once or twice since the ink dried last year). Will the administration actually learn from history or are they dead set on being the fools that are determined to repeat history.

The Agreed Framework was in 1994; the US agreed to send heavy fuel oil and provide assistance with the construction of proliferation-resistant LWRs to replace North Korea’s graphite-moderated reactors.
Sanctions were imposed in 1994 because of technology transfers with Iran. Additional sanctions were imposed in 1997 and again in 1998 for violations.
In 1999, NK halted long-range missile testing for the duration of talks (that had been going on for years); this resulted in a partial lifting of sanctions (but putting in others, specifically against private NK companies).
In 2000, NK and SK signed a joint declaration regarding reunification. Talks continued between NK and US.
And then, Bush was elected, the administration adopted a new bellicose tone, causing NK to pull out of talks with Seoul.
Talks continue to shatter, and in 2003 they end completely.
A new Six Party Talks began, resulting in critical positive response in 2005. However, continued bellicosity resulted in NK completely pulling out in 2009.
So what have we learned? The Obama administration has not given any money or technology to North Korea.

Please, note that North Korea has never used nuclear weapons, and it has never invaded any countries outside of the Korean peninsula. What about the US? Shouldn't this be mentioned in any article and news report about North Korea in US media?
North Korea would not be so belligerent if there were no US troops in South Korea, like there are no permanent US troops in Taiwan, only some US military personnel. Relations between China and the US are not good because of Taiwan, but imagine what they would be like if there were US military bases in Taiwan. It is the same in Koreas but the difference is that North Korea has US military bases next to its borders. This is not the best solution. In fact, the US needs North Korea as pretext for its military presence in East Asia. North Korean leadership is inadequate but so is the US policy in East Asia.

North Korea is a zit on the face of the earth - hardly a nuclear power to be reckoned with as a world power. Pakistan and India have the Bomb - and yet you don't worry about them?

Don't cross this line! Or this one! Damn. Okay. Don't cross this one now. Okay. Here are some guns and money and go ahead and get your nukes and I will call it a victory.

How about the other five nuclear powers who signed the deal?
Germany, France, China, Russia, Japan and UK?

Clinton and Bush Jr. Sent them money and other prizes. Obama hasn't sent them a damn thing.
