what causes our visio tv to loose its picture? we watch it for 10 minutes and then the screen goes black,but the sound is still there.?

Depending on if you're using an HD cable or a regular AV cable, check to see if its tight into the connecting port. If it's AV it'll be the yellow cable. Usually if that doesn't I blow into it lightly for dust. If that doesn't work it is probably the tv it's self.

its probably something to do with the lights that project the image inside the tv, have you taken the back off and looked inside the tv to see if any thing is broke?
