Any ideas for ways of helping the environment as a birthday party?
My daughter will be turning nine this year, and although her birthday isn't until early summer she has decided what she wants to do for her birthday. Instead of having a traditional birthday party she would like to do something to help the environment. Does anyone have any ideas of something she could do with a group of friends around her age that would help the environment and could incorporate into a birthday? Thanks!

Another idea I have seen is not that much on conservation but a social program
Have the kids bring pet food..and arrange with the pet shelter to have them come and walk the dogs..sometimes you can get a spot in the paper if you call early and the kids will see that good deeds count

Plant some trees? Maybe get her a composter and teach about composting.

don't be posting your trashy stuff where its not wanted. stick your big fast nose in someone elses business and anyone can report whatever they want. that's not up to you to decide
