which of these video cards is better?

i want to buy a new video card and got recommended these by my friends. can any1 tell me which is better?

4GB EVGA GTX 970 Superclocked ACX 2.0 GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 Video Card

sapphire radeon R9 290 Tri-X OC 4GB

2GB EVGA GTX 960 GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 SSC ACX 2.0+ Graphic Card

    The GTX 970 is the fastest of all those cards. Just make sure you have a good name brand 500W PSU with a single +12V rail design, and 80+ bronze or better rating. A 600-650W PSU would be a better choice, as it would allow head room for future upgrades (SLI of two 970 in the future would require a 700-750W PSU however)
