Question about my refund?

I filed through HRB on 1/13 and was accepted on 1/19 ad as of today I do not have direct deposit date or second bar on WMR. I can order my account transcript, but not my return transcript. I am going to Maui next week and already bought ticket, but was expecting my refund to pay for hotel satay. Is anyone else having issues with IRS refunds?

Update:

Some of you guys are a real piece of work. I was just asking a question and will not tolerate bitchy behavior.

This is and has been the IRS statement on refunds: https://www.irs.gov/uac/Newsroom/IRS-Issues-Nine-O... good luck, but don't count on it.

There is no "issue." Yet. Feb 9 -- 4 days from today -- is day 21 and the IRS only states that 90% of taxpayers should receive their refunds in 21 days or less. The IRS also cautions taxpayers to NOT make any firm financial commitments until they have their refund in hand.

You'll get your refund when you get it. Best make other plans to pay for the hotel.

BTW, even if your return transcript was available, that would NOT mean that your refund was on its way. It would ONLY mean that your return had been processed and posted to the system. Approval of your refund is a separate step and while it usually follows fairly quickly that is NOT always the case.

Only an idiot would make plans expecting a tax refund by a certain date. There is no law that says that they cannot take MONTHS to issue your refund.

There is no promise of when a refund will be delivered. It MAY come within 3 weeks, but that is not a promise. It is foolish to spend the money before you have it.

And stop wasting government resources ordering transcripts you don't have a legitimate need for. This is costing the government money that could have been used to process tax returns.
