How do you block comments for your answer?

I notice in this question:

https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20160...

that the answer by "TWB" does not allow comments. How does one get that to happen?

    Seems to work for me.

There is a Blocked section in My Network in the settings which may prevent comments from people that are blocked.

If I right click on your name or icon, I see the panel below. If I were to click on the Block link you would not be able to comment on my answer or even email me. Also, the word Block will change to Unblock.

For some people I also get the option to Follow. I am not sure why your account does not offer to let me follow you. Maybe somebody else can explain why I can follow some people but not others.

    I hope this helps.

Whoever TWB is has you blocked for some reason. That is why you cannot comment on his/her answer. I see the guy got a lot of TDs; maybe he blocks a lot of people.

You would have to block the entire membership of YA to do that! You cannot stop people from commenting apart from the few you might have blocked & only then on your answers,no-one else'

Comments on that answer are not blocked globally, only for YOU. I can comment on it. So apparently, that person has blocked you, specifically. Once blocked, you can't answer their questions or comment on their answers.

Shows for me. If you can't see it, the person has blocked you.

I'm not sure, but once a comment is "the best one" then comments are closed for the question
