Does anyone know if the new Pokemon 20th Anniversary 3DS is an XL?
Me and my brother preordered the new Pokemon 20th Anniversary Edition 3DS because it's pretty much our childhood in a box. However, he said that it sucks that it's not the 3DS XL. I was under the impression that the New 3DS only came in XL. I've looked everywhere to find out if it is in fact XL or regular but it doesn't say.
Does anyone know?

The New 3DS does come in a standard size and the XL. Up until recently Nintendo of America hadn't brought the standard size out to the US (it was just XL here), but the last couple of special editions (the Animal Crossing one, and now the Pokemon one) have indeed been the standard size. Oddly, the Fire Emblem special ed is still an XL.

The Pokemon New 3DS bundle is a non-XL New 3DS. You can tell right away because it mentions faceplates, which are exclusive to the standard system.

It's not xl. Nintendo originally didn't want to release the new 3ds non-xl here because it thought it would be too confusing. Nintendo changed its mind and the non-xl was released here.
