Is it better to get a variable speed compressor or a split system single speed compressor combined with a separate fan coil?

    These are two different AC systems and cannot be compared. A split system is one where the exchanger is located far from the compressor. The variable speed compressor is an efficiency scheme.

    VARIABLE SPEED IS THE BEST BUT SO FAR NOT EXISTED IN MOST AIR CONDITIONER.
