why is yahoo answers not accepting any new questions?

well it obviously accepts this one. Wonder if there's a filter on the words you can use then

It's not accepting anything with law or firearms or the most obvious synonyms in it it seems

    Yahoo is for sale. Correcting failures is not a priority. Seems unlikely that Answers will last the rest of his year.
