I filled my taxes on January 28 2016?

I filled my taxes on January 28 2016 and it was accpect on the 29 of january I have been waiting for almost 3 months still no refund i finally went to the irs in person and they said they needed to see my w2 information which i showed them everything looked good so they sent them back over to get placed off hold how long will it take me to get my refund now?

    1/29 to 4/7 = 2 months 9 days. Which is not almost 3 months.

    Something about your W-2 looked funny, so they asked to see it. That means the return is being manually processed and that will add months.

    they are the only ones who can tell you. It often takes 3-4 months. be patient.
