It's one of my favorites along with American Horror Story, Reign, Hemlock Grove, Gothem, Spartacus, Walking Dead and a few others.
I adore the stories, the actors HOWEVER, I grow a little weary of all the backstabbing, plots, and harm done to one another all in the name of power, control, wealth and for heaven sake love. I know the shows are great because of all of the above, but I have burnt myself out on them all.
One of the reasons I love True Blood so much is because there are breaks in between all the mayhem, some humor even rather than nonstop quarreling.

I rate it a 10. I really enjoy the series. I like the direction that the writers have taken, and how they have woven in historical fact with the fantasy. The casting? Great. The mixture of sex, violence, and mystery? Great. Even the music is so perfect.
