Yahoo Answers always has issues, and doesn't work well with all operating systems. Vista is one of the ones that didn't stick around long, and Yahoo may not have bothered to fully test it on that. So there may be more glitches than normal.

The standard "fix" for such issues include: clearing all cache files and restarting the device; being sure Java, flash and browser are all fully updated; and trying a different browser. Since there don't seem to be hundreds of other users screaming about this particular glitch, the probability is that it is more about YOUR system than about the site programming itself.

Vista is an operating system. If you are on a mobile device, it needs to b in desktop mode. Your display problems may be at your end with your device, especially if you have not cleared the devices chace of all the tracking cookie files that are now taking up memory space and power to maintain those files in memory, or, you have too many browser pages and too many tabs open at the same time *which is usually what MY problem is), or the problem can be at Yahoo's end or someplace in between because you do not have a good internet connection, especially if you are moving around.. Buildings can block the signal and electrical lines can create interference with the signal.

If you are on mobile device , try putting it into desktop mode and STOP moving around, or plug the device into another device or into the wall. When you put a mobile device into desktop mode, yahoo boosts power a little bit somewhere in the computer network., but that cannot fix a cellphone tower that is not working.
