Politics: Isn't it nice to see California Democrats promoting religion?

Their new gun laws coming down the pike seem intent on limiting people to ten shots in self defense. Since it's statistically unlikely that's enough to stop two assailants, Californians will have no choice but to trust in God.

If 10 shots is unlikely to stop the assailants, then a larger number is certain not to stop them. If there are two or more assailants, then one of them will stop the "self-defender" way before 10 shots. Only an assailant would get up to 10 shots now.

With one noteworthy exception. There was a case where the police fired more than ten shots and didn't stop the assailant. But they (the police) accidentally shot more innocent bystanders than the assailant did.

Which brings up another good point. If someone is going to fire more than 10 shots in "self-defense", then everyone has to put their faith in God, because the remaining "self-defense" shots are more likely to kill an innocent bystander than to stop the assailant.

Yeah, that 10 shots thing was a load of crap. You clearly don't know what you're talking about.

I'm pretty sure the SC would strike down that law as being un-Constitutional!
