How do I create a chart on one Excel sheet, using data from two other sheets?

Update:

In Excel 2010 I need to create a simple pie chart on a certain sheet, which has only two inputs. When I have the two relevant cells on that sheet, I highlight them, select the chart, and it appears. But I have to have the two calculations on other sheets and link them to the chart on the first sheet, and this is difficult. The websites I've checked show a Select Data dialogue box that's different to the one I get.

    Put = in a cell on the new sheet, and then click on a cell in an earlier sheet
