I saw an article that said gay men are spreading AIDS at an alarming rate. Why don't we just get rid of LBGT people?

i thought AIDS was pretty much over with gay guys. they have those anti-AIDS drugs now and AIDS is no longer a death sentence. nonwhite minority persons are more likely to contract HIV now than white gay men, or so I believed.
