Why did you use the words of Paul in Romans 2:13 when you could have used the actual words spoken by Jesus in Matt 12:47-50 or Luke 8:19-21 KJV
James 1:22 = Luke 6:46 KJV
1 John 2:17 = Matt 24:34-35 KJV
1 John 5:3 = John 14:15-16 KJV
Peter 2:1 = Matt 7:15 KJV
1 John 4:1 = Luke 24:25
But there is one thing missing in all of your quotes and that is JESUS SAID.
John 5:43, were Moses, the prophets, Peter, Paul, James, Timothy, or the writers of 1 John looking to Glorify their own names or the name of God, The book of Acts of the Apostles, is John 5:43 in a nutshell.

If you've been frequenting this R&S site for over seven years yet think "Christians never quote the words of Jesus", then you must have missed seeing thousands upon thousands of Christian answers where they quoted Jesus' words! I do it all the time! In my previous answer a few minutes ago, I made two quotations of Jesus among others to answer "Christians what did the ransom sacrifice call for - just a body?"
If you want to be taken seriously on here, don't make groundless claims. Stick to stating truth. Avoid exaggerating. And don't forget either, that if a question is about something Moses did, then an answer quoting Moses is entirely appropriate. Same with questions about Paul or Peter etc. But nobody is going to believe your claim, that Christians NEVER quote the words of Jesus. That simply is not true.

Christians are morons. They don't get that Jesus was fighting against his oppressors, the Jews, who had horrible, barbaric laws that called for killing anyone and everyone, for just about anything. They killed children who talked back to their parents, promiscuous women, people who questioned their religion, worshiped another god, or practiced astrology, or said I am God, even though that's the way their own book was written. Moses killed a whole tribe of people except for the young virgin girls who he kept as sex slaves for him and his men. Jesus actively said they were wrong about everything, turned over their money tables, called them corrupt, evil, monsters, or he probably didn't say it in such a strong way. If he had just said your religion is a joke, and your God is an evil monster, here try my religion, they would have killed him a lot sooner, and you probably never would have heard of him, but that's pretty much what he did do. I have no idea why people quote the old testament when that's what he got rid of, the horrid, barbaric, murderous Jewish law. There is no set of rules that Christians live by, except the golden rule, because Jesus showed very clearly by the way they killed him for practically nothing, that they were wrong about everything.

Well, that's just simply wrong to say. We quote Jesus much more than we quote the prophets of Judaism.
"I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but by me." We say that so much that people get angry at us for "exclusivism". No, we believe Jesus *is the way to the Father.

Even stranger is when they come up with stuff that you can't even find in the bible at all.
I've spent time in various churches over the years - and I can't figure out where half of the stuff they talk about even comes from.

"Why do those who claim they are Christian never quote the words of Jesus whom they say they believe in?"
What's even worse is this: all christians defiantly refuse to Live their Values Every Day.
Here's ONE EXMAPLE (of many) showing what I mean by that: If to be christian is to model one's self after the mythical jesus creature in the New Testament, then -- that mythical jesus creature demands that his followers not hoard wealth and not amass worldly goods, but rather, get what you need and give your excess to poor and needy people who actually need help to survive. That is the life he allegedly lived, and the life of service and sacrifice he demands of his True Followers.
But today's christians are cowards, liars and frauds. NONE OF THEM live the life of a True Follower of the mythical jesus creature in the New Testament - none of them TRULY live by his Golden Rule teachings. They live lives of excuses and lies, always talking about WHY they CANNOT live their christian values every day. And they are too fraudulent to admit that greed and self-importance mean more to them that True christian values. Drive past any church parking lot during worship. Check out all the Mercedes, BMWs, Range Rovers, Cadillac SUVs, etc etc, parked in the lot there.... At most, the mythical jesus creature would have gotten what he needed -- maybe a decent Hyundai SUV or whatever; still comfortable and hugely reliable -- and he then would have given all the excess he had left over to people who need it to pay utility bills and feed their kids and buy them clothes. But not today's American christians. They are liars and cowards -- and they are frauds to their most basic christian values, and the MOST BASIC things their jesus-creature cared about most, and what he wanted most of his followers. They are TRAITORS to him and their values.
NOT ONE CHRISTIAN ANYWHERE actually lives their values every day. And this (the car example) is but one of MANY excesses that christians fraudulently live, based upon direct NT scriptures attributed to the mythical christ creature. They NEVER do anything that is a clear jesus-directive, if it makes their own lives inconvenient. They depend on their christian COWARD CLAUSE to get them out of any trouble -- they just ask for forgiveness later. It's the COWARD CLAUSE they always rely on, knowing they can get away with anything bad that they do, they just go to their "forgiveness" Coward Clause and whine to jesus for forgiveness, and hey! Everything's just fine...
christianity is the biggest VALUES FRAUD cult belief on the planet.

people dont you get it, just because you call yourself (a christian) doesnt mean that you are a christian...many so called christians do just as the bible says.
2 Timothy 4: 3 For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the wholesome teaching, but according to their own desires, they will surround themselves with teachers to have their ears tickled.
4 They will turn away from listening to the truth and give attention to false stories.
QUOTING JESUS WORDS:
Matthew 7:13 “Go in through the narrow gate, because broad is the gate and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are going in through it; 14 whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are finding it.
15 “Be on the watch for the false prophets who come to you in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. 16 By their fruits you will recognize them. Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do they? 17 Likewise, every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, nor can a rotten tree produce fine fruit. 19 Every tree not producing fine fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Really, then, by their fruits you will recognize those men.
21 “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of the heavens, but only the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. 22 Many will say to me in that day: ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them: ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’
(Romans 2:13) For the hearers of law are not the ones righteous before God, but the doers of law will be declared righteous.
(James 1:22) However, become doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves with false reasoning.
(1 John 2:17) Furthermore, the world is passing away and so is its desire, but the one who does the will of God remains forever.
(1 John 5:3) For this is what the love of God means, that we observe his commandments; and yet his commandments are not burdensome,
(Matthew 24:11) Many false prophets will arise and mislead many;
(2 Peter 2:1) However, there also came to be false prophets among the people, as there will also be false teachers among you. These will quietly bring in destructive sects, and they will even disown the owner who bought them, bringing speedy destruction upon themselves.
(1 John 4:1) Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired statement, but test the inspired statements to see whether they originate with God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
