Why do some Christians believe Adam was the first to be created, were not the dinosaurs and the cavemen created before Adam?

I don't know of any Christians who think Adam was "the first to be created". Genesis is perfectly clear that sea creatures were created first, then birds, then land animals and - finally - as the culmination of all of God's earthly creation, Adam was created in God's likeness.

Dinosaurs would be among those previously created sea, air and land animals. No cavemen existed prior to Adam and Eve, for God created them perfect - the apex of His creation. We are degenerating, not climbing upwards towards improved physicality. Genesis shows Adam lived to be 930 years of age (Gen. 5:5). Then the life-span of humans dropped by God's decree to 120 years (Gen. 6:3) then to 70 or 80 (Psalm 90:10).

If people say that Adam was the first to be created - they are probably meaning the first HUMAN BEING.

We know the order of creation because it is all written for us in Genesis.

You might not realize though that Adam was the one who named all the animals. (Genesis 2:19)

Adam was the first MAN to be created.

Adam is the first created *man. Clearly, the sea-dwelling animals and the birds were created (Genesis 1:20,21), then the land-dwellers (Gen 1:24,25) before mankind (Gen 1:26).

No Christian I know makes the claim you make for them. Methinks you are mistaken.

The creation stories of Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 have different orders of creation. Most Christian deal with it without harmonization by not insisting they are chronicles of actual events.

You should understand this before speaking of what Christians do and do not believe.

There were people before Adam and Eve, that were made on the 6th day. God said it was all "very good". Genesis 1:31 KJV And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

There was not a man to till the soil, though.

He rested on the 7th. Then, on the 8th day, He made The Man Named Adam, a farmer.

Genesis 2:1 KJV Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. 4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, 5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew : for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

Genesis 1:27 KJV So God created man in his own image, in the image of God *created he him*; *male and female created he them*.

The word translated into the English word, "God" in that verse is 'elohiym' which means God and His children. We were with Him in spirit bodies when He made this second earth age where we all live in temporary flesh bodies and He fulfills His plan to freely offer, at a very great price to Himself, salvation of eternal life in the third earth age. John 3:14-21 KJV

So, God made His flesh body look like He looks there.

John 14:9 KJV Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

...And God made our flesh bodies look like we look there. *male and female created He them*.

It was the 6th day people where Cain found his wife and those are the people he was afraid of.

Nope. You would have to add that to the account by God.

Whichever it was the important thing is that we are accountable. not dinosaus.
