The folktale or fairytale of how Whales took off their fins to walk on land?
I m looking for a specific folktale I remembered hearing once, of where the main character saw people dancing by the sea with two swords in their hands, but It turned out those men were whales, and the fins their swords. If possible, I d like its area of origin as well.
Update:
I only have a vague recollection, so it's possible it may not be a folktale.
