Does anyone know of any junkyards around the country that are home to only a specific car?
I'm trying to find junkyards that hold only one kind of car. I want find a junkyard of just old Mustangs, or another one of only old Camaros.
I'm not really looking for an actual business. Just a place where these unused cars are left to rot and nothing more.
or maybe some place like in the link that was provided by River Euphrates

Never heard of such a thing. It wouldn't make sense from a business point of view -- too limited, not enough business.

I don't know if you will find a junk yard specializing in a single model but there are plenty of used auto parts warehouses that do.

Ive seen them that specialize in Chrysler products and "imports" but never one that only dealt in mustangs. It would take a decade or so to fill up your yard and you wouldn't make any money in the meantime.
There is one that I tried to use to find a floor mat for my car. None had them and I even left my name & email and nobody responded.
I guess there isn't a lot of supply for used floor mats for 2012 mazda 3s.
What I found years ago in looking for parts by manually calling around is everywhere you call, ask if they know who might. And in that business, everybody knows everybody. When I needed a motor for a Honda civic, everybody said "Antonio" and sure enough, he had what I needed, I went there and was able to crank it up and see the mileage. He even delivered it to the guy who installed it. It was still a nightmare because it cost me, I don't know $1300 parts and labor and that was 25 years ago.
Car was fine when I bought it. Blew up with no warning 11 miles later.
"Welcome to the car business, we heard you were getting too cocky for your own good" I cant complain though, I made a decent living at it for a dozen years. Plus, I did well in the stock market back then. Since then, not so much.
But the good news is I don't need much to live on.
car-part.com is the website where you may be able to find the exact part you are looking for in your state. Assuming its not a floor mat.
Another might be rockauto.

No... That's not really a very "Cost Effective" Way of running a Salvage Yard. So I rather Doubt You're going to Find too many- of Those. :(

Absolutely NONE.
Junkyard don't"specialize" in one brand model Only for obvious reasons.
