Mexico's southern border with Guatemala has a huge fence & guards to keep trespassers out. Why doesn't Mexico want a fence at the north?

Mexicans who are in the U.S. illegally who are working and sending money back to Mexico represent a significant factor in the Mexican economy. Why would the Mexican government want to lose that source of money by having a fence between Mexico and the U.S.? Plus, the great majority of those illegals are unskilled laborers and having them go north relieves Mexico of having to find them jobs, as well as providing education, health, and other social services for them. In other words, let someone else take care of the problem.

Because it would be an eyesore, blocking their view, plus it would dampen the southerly flow of cooler Canadian air in the summer.

Lord knows, Mexico is hot enough without being deprived of cool Canadian winds!

No one is trying to sneak into Mexico from the north!

Because Cali, New Mexico and Texas are lost Mexico territories.
