why ps vita cant play ps2 games iso?

psp could play psone iso why ps vita couldnt play ps2 iso as of now

    sony can make it play ps2 games but they dont want to the only thing i can think about is by using emulator

    The PSP has a PS1 emulator built in.

    So does the Vita.

    But it doesn't have a PS2 emulator
