What does the average person spend going to the dentist per month? Or if you know the average family per month too?

I haven't been in 10 years, and need to go as I have at least 3 cavities... But want to know what I'm getting into.

Update:

I live in the U.S. Oregon to be more exact.

Twice per year for a cleaning/exam/xray depending on the person. Then any extra trips for fillings, root canal, crowns, etc. The worse the teeth the more visits.

You haven't been in 10 years so it is going to be at least a few hundred dollars if you don't have insurance. The cleaning plus 3 cavities and xrays will be expensive.
