Do I need a visa for Cyprus?

Update:

Hi. I am originally from south asia but am married to an EU citizen and hence have permanent residency in the UK as a family member of the EU. Do I need a visa to go on holiday in Cyprus? My wife doesn't so I am not sure if I don't too?

Whether you need a visa depends on your unknown nationality.

A UK visa or UK residence permit does not exempt from the visa requirement for Cyprus.

    I quote:

Holders of valid double or multiple entry Schengen visa or Bulgarian, Croatian and Romanian, as well as residence permits issued by Schengen Member States or by Bulgaria, Croatia and Romania, are not required to hold a short-stay visa to enter the Republic of Cyprus for a time period that does not exceed 90 days in any 180 day period. This provision doesn’t apply to Citizens of Turkey and Azerbaijan who have to follow the regular visa issuance procedure.

If you have an EEA permit and are travelling with your spouse, you do not need a visa. If you are travelling alone, you need one if your citizenship requires it.
