How can I go about professionally putting my drawings/comics on merchandise (mugs, shirts, etc.)?

I am a cartoonist, and would love to put my work on mugs/cups, shirts, backpacks, tins, keychains and more. Does anyone know of any company where either I can design/sell my own merchandise, or submit my ideas for others to use them and pay me? Thanks!

    Yo0u can do this yourself.

    There are MANY companies that will do this for you. YOU provide the artwork and purchase the item to be "branded". They will convert your artwork to the proper form for printing, and print the items for you.

    But YOU pay for it, and YOU sell it.
