if a skinny person and an obese person were dying from starvation at the same time... would the skinny die first, or both at the same time?

If it was total starvation, like locked in a room with no more food, the fat person would die first because it takes more energy to keep a bigger body going, meaning he'd need food more, and he'd use up his available energy faster.

But if it was slow starvation, like not enough to eat week after week, the fat person would last longer because he could use his stores of body fat.
