Do marketers/advertisers get bonuses?

If you come up with an idea do you sell it to a company for a portion? Or how do people get super rich working in that field?

    It depends on the contract you sign and the compensation package you settle on. Some companies pay straight salary, some pay commission for ideas that launch, some provide a % of the total revenue earned.

    You mean like an advertising campaign? You have an idea that would help them sell their product? You won't be getting super rich from that, you won't get anything. You would want to sell yourself as an employee to a marketing firm and hope to earn $40k/yr.

    there are all kinds of ways to determine what you are paid for your advertising ideas, you will discuss the payment option with the client
