Does it take long to learn to rap?

I mean months to years

    Usually it takes 3 months to learn basic rap. 1 year to be listenable. 3 years to sound somewhat good. 5 years to sound professional. And if you really talented in 10 years you might sound like an elite rapper.

    Actually, for some people it can take a short amount of time to master the techniques and rules of rap. You really just have to practice until you feel you have reached the level you need to be on.
