No it wouldn't be a bad idea. My boyfriend has an ex and a kid and it's the best relationship I've ever been in. There are things that might be issues but if you really like her ask her out!

she went to the circus ,she have seen it all,plus she is carrying loads of problems.save yourself a headache go for younger girl than you with a fresh personality and the life is just has been opened for her.
