do people really know how important supreme court picks are?

    Anyone who stays politically aware knows just how important the selection of a supreme court justice is. The political leanings of the justices affect their decisions and society for generations to come.

    Although the members of the supreme court are supposed to be non-political we know that isn't the case. Their political views can't help but slant their decisions which is why Republican members of Congress don't want a

    Democrat appointed as a justice and vice versa.

    I suspect a large number of citizens don't know that.

    Perhaps you could explain just what 'supreme court picks' actually are, because I've never heard this phrase before.

    some of them know that, another do not know. and I do not know either
