Is it possible to know if someone has down syndrome via hair?

    With the root it is certainly possible. It is also possible to get nuclear DNA out of hair but it it isn't a normally used procedure. It was considered impossible several years ago in human hair without a root. Apparently with some procedures they can sometimes get nuclear DNA out of the shaft as well. It is probably something only done in research labs or maybe top forensic labs in special cases.
