If I have a suspended license court date but I'm moving states before the court date, what happens?

I'm moving to Colorado next week and my court date is September 6th. My license was suspended because I got a speeding ticket I was able to pay on time then got pulled over again with the suspended license for expired tags, they gave me a court date. However, since I am moving I won't be able to attend that court date so what I can I do? Am I able to go to the court house here and let them know I am moving and see if they can trash get my stuff to Colorado court house for me to show up and pay my fees?

    A case can't be moved from one state to the other.

    If you don't show up to the court date, an arrest warrant would be issued.

    Go to court and inquire if you could speed things up by pleading guilty without fighting the charges.

    Oh, you WILL be attending that court date. Moving has nothing to do with the fact that you broke the law. If you don't attend. Not only will you have a warrant out for your arrest. You will not be able to get a license ANYWHERE in the US.

    The courts don't care about you moving. They care about you breaking the law. You cannot transfer traffic cases to another state.

    You are STILL required to APPEAR in court. You can REQUEST the date be moved ahead to a time before you intend to move. The court in the other state CAN'T handle the case. You CAN face additional FELONY charges if you leave the state and don't show up for your court date. There is NO statute of limitations for leaving the jurisdiction.

    You will have to deal with the issue in the state where the charge took place not Colorado. If you don't you will not be able to get a licence in Colorado and there will likely be an arrest warrant issued that will get you arrested in Colorado and sent back.

    I believe I would contact the court and inform them of the move so they could tell me what will happen and what needs to be done.
