Should high school have PE/Gym?

I get it. When you're a kid its fun and keeps you active. But in all my years of high school, it has done nothing. The fit people stay fit & the fat people stay fat. Theres no change. I think it would be beneficial to replace gym with a class that teaches kids how to apply for college, a job, etc. Or a study hall for you to get work done and study

    no the obesity problem is getting bigger they should have two gyms xxx
