License Replacement vs Renewal?
If a have a vertical ID, that says under 21, but I am now 21 and want to get it changed to a horizontal ID instead (so it doesn t say under 21)... but the ID doesn t expire for a few years yet... should I request a Replacement or a Renewal?? I just want to make sure the new ID I receive will be horizontal and not say under 21.

Should you request a replacement? Only if you are willing to pay for it. Otherwise, there is no reason to renew the license until near its expiration date. You can still get in venues which serve alcohol with your vertical ID if that is what you are worried about.

Your date of birth is clearly printed on that vertical card you have. You know that, right?
Yes I know the vertical card says you're under 21, but it only says you were under 21 at the time it was issued. Your birth date, printed on that same card, verifies that you're not.
