How do you determine elevation changes in golf?
I know what you need to do when you have a pin that is 10 yards higher or lower. But nobody talks about how do you KNOW if the pin is 10 yards higher or lower. So how do you determine the distance the pin is in elevation in relation to you?
I need to know how to determine the elevation without the use of a ranger finder that utilizes slope.

Mark out a known distance and height that is easy, like 20 yards. Then get used to seeing what that looks like. Next time you are on the golf course then you can determine roughly if it is about what you measured out, larger, or smaller. Maybe use a range finder to get used to the distances. Hope that makes sense.

Estimate. Just estimate. You can see if it's higher and lower and figure out how high it looks to you. Like how tall are you? Is it bigger/taller or smaller/shorter than your height? You don't need any fancy contraptions. Just play.
