Will there be a world war in your lifetime?

Not in the WW2 sense. But as The Actionist stated, the war on terror is a never ending evolving travesty that will keep the arms dealers employed indefinitely. Thermonuclear war is a long shot but not completely out of the question. Until we run out of people to kill, someone will always come up with a reason to start a war.

I hate to break it to you, but we're in the midst of 'Fourth Generation Warfare' global war as it is.

The only question is that of escalation /de-escalation.

Western leadership is packed full of warmongers in London and Paris and a post Obama US is going to get a lot worse by all the signs.

As for Trump being more dangerous than Kilary, that is absolute nonsense.

Kilary's reign in the State Department has been one of US instigated regional destabilisation and (in the case of Libya particulary) outright nation destroying.

She poses a huge threat to any chance of world peace and that's no endorsement of Trump, rather it's a reality check for Kilary's mindless followers.

I reckon i have at least another 40 years to live, its along time. fortunately there have been no significant wars in my lifetime , and i doubt whether there will another world war.

There kind of is - The War on Terror. You can also call the Cold War a world war. But who knows

I'm 45. I smoke so I probably won't live all that long. I might get another 20 years. I could get less. I could be murdered tomorrow for my cigarettes. Lord knows it is highway robbery at the store. I will say no. Hopefully not.

No. Wars between countries, especially major countries, will NEVER happen again.

It's doubtful and not something to bet on, because people are careful about nuclear weapons, just as they are reluctant to use powerful chemicals like nerve gas or mustard gas.
