Why do you think college is necessary?

College is necessary for you to be able to have a stable income in the future. It would develop your skills and would make you ready to the possible challenges in your life. And of course wouldn't you be happy if you were able to graduate and survive after those years you've sacrificed while holding that diploma as a reward for your efforts.

Depends on what you study. In some cases learning a trade is the way to go. Having a bachelor's degree these days is almost like a high school diploma used to be.

People who get college degrees in fields applicable to the marketplace tend to earn significantly higher incomes than those who don't. But that doesn't make it "necessary". If you want to live your life with lower income, that's your business.
