Excel - Combinations from data set?
How can you determine all of the possible combinations for a series of 1000 numbers. For example, I am trying to determine all of the possible combination for all of the 3 digit zip codes in the United States for a project. I think the best way to do this is use the Kutool download for Excel but I'm open to other suggestions. Then once I have the answer with all of the combinations I want to display all of the possible combinations in two columns next to one another. I'm thinking this will be 1,000,000 combinations so doing it by hand will take forever. Does anyone know how to do this?

There are only 1000 combinations of 3 digits, 0 to 9. That is arrived at by the fact that each of the 3 digits can be 0 to 9. Thus, the number of combinations is 10 x 10 x 10 = 1000.
Format A1:A1000 as 'Text'.
In A1:A3 enter 001, 002, and 003 respectively. Then select the three cells and drag down to row 1000.
This will give you all the combinations of 3 digit numbers.
